Operation: Sapphire - Day 8
Feb. 12th, 2002 11:40 pmIt always seems so quiet at night up here, almost scary. Even though I've been here for a long time, I'm still trying to get used to the silence of the area.
Getting back to my last entry, about my history, I remember that there were 12 members in the resistance. One for each month of the year. The codenames were chosen based on birthmonths, which is why mine is Sapphire.
There were only 3 girls, myself included, in the group. Amethyst, Pearl and I were in charge of handling the cooking and stuff, while the guys did most of the fighting. Of course, then came the team leaders..
There were 3 teams of 4 members each, with the first month of that group being leader. Garnet ended up being the leader of group 1, the first 4 months. Emerald ended up being leader of the next 4, and I was leader of the last 4. There was one girl in each group. I was the only girl leader, and I took my job as seriously as I could.
Well, gotta get going. Got work to do. Laters muchness...
